OTTAWA – The American Automobile Association this week released the latest average gas prices statewide, and LaSalle County is below the state average but above the national average, coming in at $3.32 per gallon. DeKalb County is among the highest, at $3.38 per gallon, above the national average of just $3.19 per gallon. Livingston County is at $3.30, Putnam at $3.36, Bureau at $3.34 and Marshall at $3.37. The Illinois statewide average according to AAA is $3.41 per gallon. Last year the state average was over a dollar less, at $2.31.
