LASALLE – Video Gaming fees for owners in the city of LaSalle are set to increase. At Monday night’s city council meeting a workshop-like discussion was held between officials and local bar owners on the idea of increasing the city’s annual video gaming fee, possibly up to $250. Council voted 5-3 to increase the fees from $60 to $120. The fee is shared with the licensed establishment and the terminal operator. There are currently over 150 gaming machines at 30 establishments in LaSalle. The city council is expected to vote on the updated ordinance at their next meeting.
