UTICA – Multiple agencies responded to Grand Bear Resort for a fire at one of the cabins at its vacation home area on Memorial Day. Officials for the Utica Fire Protection District says the call came at approximately 5:20 pm for a porch on fire. With high winds on Memorial Day, the fire quickly spread to other neighboring cabins prior to the arrival of crews. As of 8 pm 20 units are involved in the fire and over 20 fire departments are at the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries are reported.
