LASALLE – The looming question for the Maytag Building in LaSalle is how much longer the already postponed project will take. LaSalle Alderman Jerry Reynolds, who has been the liaison between the city and the 800 blocks of First Street building owner CL Enterprises, reported on Tuesday night that the project already has a contractor. Reynolds says CL Enterprises is waiting on a quote to make a decision as to how soon they can move forward with the proposed brewpub project. LaSalle officials agreed to come up with a list of questions to bring back to CL Enterprises at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
