MENDOTA – The Mendota High School Drama Club will present “The Play That Goes Wrong” Friday and Saturday at 7pm at the Mendota High School Auditorium. The comedy of errors is set in the 1920’s, featuring a production of “The Murder at Haversham Manor” presented by the fictional Cornley Drama Society. Plenty of laughs are to be had during the performance, according to director James Younger.
“We’re going to have slapstick comedy, a lot of physical comedy. One actor, most of his role is physical comedy in it. And there is a lot of puns and line comedy, too. The whole thing is a big farce about a murder mystery” said Younger.
The eight cast members and ten crew members have been working hard rehearsing for the show. Tickets will be available at the door, adults $10, senior citizens and under 18 $5
