After being lost in the desert for a week, an 84-year-old man was rescued in Mexico by his dog, two miles from home. Trained sniffer dogs tried and could not find him. However his own pup, El Palomo was able to track him down. According to family, it is not uncommon for Gregorio Romero to go for walks that last a couple of days. Romero suffers from memory loss and his niece became concerned after four days and contacted authorities.
