PERU- The upcoming Habitat of Humanity build in Peru will be on Buffalo Street. At Peru’s City Council meeting, Kris Paul of Habitat of Humanity says the first Peru build will be on the corner of 7th and Buffalo Street for a low income family.
The qualified family would take pay all taxes and take out a low interest mortgage set up by Habitat. The family must be U.S. citizens and don’t have to be residents of LaSalle, Putnam or Bureau counties.
