OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that lane closures are coming to Veterans Memorial Bridge in Ottawa for an upcoming inspection. IDOT crews will be working daily from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on one side of the Illinois 23/71 River Bridge at a time. The outside lane and sidewalk will be closed during the duration of the inspections. Weather permitting, the work should be completed by Friday, March 10th.
