OTTAWA – Green Street from Chapel Street north to Canal Road in Ottawa will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday. Ottawa officials say the area should be reopened to through traffic by 5 p.m. on Thursday. Road closed signage will be posted again on Friday if additional work requires a second day. Trees located in that section of the roadway are being removed in preparation for the upcoming Green Street elevation project.
