LASALLE – Police are investigating an incident involving a firearm in the 600 block of First Street in LaSalle. An ambulance was called to that location around 11:15 AM Wednesday for a reported gunshot injury. According to LaSalle Police Chief Mike Smudinski it appeared to be an accidental discharge of a weapon. The condition of the victim was not disclosed and the investigation is ongoing.
