BLOOMINGTON – An investigation is ongoing for a woman found dead in Bloomington on Thursday. According to the Bloomington Police Department, 39-year-old Melissa Sue Ostrom was reported missing on Monday. After an extensive search of the area on Thursday, her body was located and the McLean County Coroner’s Office pronounced Ostrom dead on the scene. An autopsy is pending and the circumstances behind this incident are still pending investigation by the Bloomington Police Department and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
