CHICAGO – NorthCentral Illinois gas prices have remained steady in the past week, according to the American Automobile Association. Statewide, Illinois continues to average over $4, while the national average is at $3.86 cents per gallon. LaSalle County gas prices have remained unchanged at $3.83 cents, while Putnam and Bureau County gas prices have increased to most expensive regionally, averaging $3.89 cents per gallon. Illinois is currently ranked in the nation’s top ten most expensive markets.
