Vehicle fire spreads to home in Ottawa

 
OTTAWA – An early Saturday morning vehicle fire in Ottawa spread to an adjacent residence. Around 3:30 AM the Ottawa Fire Department was called to the 1400 block of Pickwick Street for a vehicle they discovered fully engulfed in flames. The fire reportedly spread to a residence, but was quickly brought under control by firefighters. No injuries were reported but damage estimates to the property were not made available. According to Ottawa Fire Chief Brian Bressner the cause of the fire appears to be accidental.
