SPRING VALLEY – A four-alarm fire Sunday destroyed a downtown Spring Valley building. Around 11 AM authorities were called to the 100 block of East St. Paul Street for the blaze that broke out in the LZ Indoor Shooting Range building.
Spring Valley, along with Ladd and Peru Firefighters fought the blaze from inside for the first twenty minutes, before being forced to take a defensive position when visability was reduced to zero from smoke.
