PERU – The Lasalle Peru and Oglesby Shared Police Service Committee met to discuss possible plans for a shared service location yesterday in Peru. Four
locations are proposed for the shared police station, however some officials are worried about the expenditure and getting the communities on board. They are pushing to seek estimates on all possible locations, to decide whether the proposal is feasible for all three cities. The committee plans to discuss a selection for outside engineering and traffic studies at their next meeting.
