SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has used a company specializing in DNA analysis to assist in generating leads in a murder case two years ago that killed and mother and son in Sycamore.
On August 15th, 2016 85-year-old Patricia A. Wilson and her son 64-year-old Robert J. Wilson were found dead in the 16000 block of Old State Road. In an update released Wednesday, Dekalb County Sheriff Roger Scott says they have used a private lab called Parabon to help create a profile of a suspect based on evidence recovered by investigators. With that information, they believe they are looking for a light skinned male and have released computer composites of what that person may look like. A $50,000 award is still being offered for information regarding the deaths by the DeKalb County Crime Stoppers.
Pictured below are the Snapshot composites depicting what the person of interest may have looked like at 40, 25 and 18 years of age with an average body-mass index of 22. They caution that the composites are scientific approximations of the appearance based on DNA, and not likely to be exact replicas of appearance.
