Dispatch Could Be Moved to New Shared Building for LaSalle/Peru

PERU – The LaSalle/Peru Shared Police Services could possibly house Illinois Valleys Regional Dispatch Center within their new headquarters. The shared service committee met Tuesday and passed a motion to authorize facility site visits in places like New Lennox and Glen Ellyn. Peru Police Chief Doug Bernabei says IVRD hopes that the marriage could take place. The IVRD is currently stationed at the Peru Police Department, but once joint headquarters are in place, the IVRD will have to look for a new facility to dispatch.
