New Officers and Changes to ESDA coming to Mendota

MENDOTA – The Mendota City Council approved the hiring of two part-time police officers at Monday’s city council meeting. Officers Shawn Emmet and Daniel Hernandez join the force one month after the appointment of Mendota’s new police chief Greg Kellen. City Council members also voted to make the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency, or ESDA a part of the fire department, as opposed to a stand alone department.
