OTTAWA – Former LaSalle County Clerk JoAnn Carretto died Sunday. Carretto worked for LaSalle County for 39 years, running for County Clerk in 2006. Carretto served as County Clerk for 12 years and resigned in December of last year. LaSalle County Clerk Lori Bongartz says, “Carretto will be missed by the entire board. She was a wonderful women to work with, who knew so much about elections and the county she served.” Services for Carretto are being arranged through the Ottawa Funeral Home.
