Two Pontiac men arrested on drug charges

PONTIAC – Two men are in custody after the Pontiac Narcotics Team seized what authorities say was drugs after a search warrant  Friday. According to the Pontiac Police Department around 6:30 pm a warrant executed by the Narcotics Unit in the 900 block of W. Madison Street that resulted in the arrest of 56-year-old Thomas Emerson Jr. Police say they seized 89 purported Norco pills and a van.  In conjunction, a second search warrant was executed in the 1000 block of E. Water Street at 9 p.m. Friday. According to authorities they seized bags of purported heroin, syringes and drug paraphernalia, as well as another van from 51-year-old Micheal Price. Emerson Jr. is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and Price is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance as possession of a controlled substance. The incident remains under investigation.
