LaSalle County Auditors suspended without pay

OTTAWA – LaSalle County Board chairman Jim Olson announced at a Thursday meeting that two deputy auditors will be suspended and no longer paid for 30 days. LaSalle County Auditor Jody Wilkinson was indicted on eight counts of felony Official Misconduct in November of 2018 after she allegedly changed time sheets for two deputy auditors, Tori Artman and Pamela Wright. Artman and Wright were charged with allegedly taking $1,358 and $1,672 respectively in overtime work that they did not do and have been charged with theft and official misconduct. It is unclear at this time what will follow after the 30 days are over.
