Starved Rock’s main parking lot to be partially opened this week

UTICA – Starved Rock Park’s Superintendent says there will be a partial opening to the main parking lot this week. Kerry Novak says the river has receded at Starved Rock’s main parking lot and clean up will take place in hopes to have a portion opened within the next few days. The lower dells of Matthiessen State Park as well as the equestrian trail is still closed. Starved Rock trails are open though Novak, warns its a muddy mess.
