STREATOR – A Streator resident will be named ‘most neighborly’ this week. Last week, Streator celebrated their 2nd annual, “Wont You Be my Neighbor” event in honor of children’s TV show host Fred Rodgers. This year residents were able to nominate someone for the ‘most neighborly’ award. The winner is to receive a gift basket filled with gift cards and other items donated from local businesses. The committee will get together to announce a winner on Thursday. An award ceremony will follow.
