STREATOR – The 12-inch water main break located over the weekend was repaired last night in Streator. According to Illinois American Water spokeswoman Karen a Cotton, the main break was located near the Streator Dam in a creek bed, surrounded by vegetation, making it challenging to locate.
Customers are being reminded to continue to conserve water as a boil order remain in effect for portions of Streator, Acona, Longpoint, Dana and Reading.
