Thefts and burglaries reported in Streator

STREATOR – Thefts and burglaries were reported in Streator on Thursday.  According to the Streator Police Department, at sometime during the day an unknown suspect entered a residence located in the 500 block of south Monroe Street and stole a key and a social security card. At sometime overnight, it was reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence located in the 400 block of South Sterling Street and stole numerous items. The incidents are pending investigations.
