LASALLE – LaSalle-Peru High School’s Building and Grounds committee is putting the brakes on a solar panel proposal, for now. Plans for the solar garden proposed at the high school’s sports complex included a $25,000 annual rental fee over 20 years. The original design and planning for the complex was to add a baseball and softball field. On Monday, the committee agreed to wait until the ten year bond on the sports complex is paid off, which according to Superintendent Dr. Steven Wroblewski, is in three years.
