Starved Rock Foundation benefit dinner to raise money for maintenance work

UTICA – The Starved Rock Foundation will have a benefit dinner this spring as part of a campaign to raise money for maintenance work at the state park. According to Amy Trimble, CEO of Starved Rock Lodge, state and taxpayer money is simply not enough to cover the continued maintenance needs of the most highly visited park in the state. Trimble says an ADA accessible project is next in line, but more funding is needed to complete the project and others planned. The dinner will kick off the campaign on April 5th at the Starved Rock Lodge.
