UNDATED – The Bureau, Putnam, and Marshall County Health Department is reminding residents that the threat of coronavirus locally is low. Health Department Administrator Hector Gomez says although there is no cause yo alter daily routines at this time, there is still a significant flu threat. Usual flu precautions should be taken including washing your hands, covering coughs and cleaning common surfaces regularly. Residents are also encouraged to familiarize themselves with steps they can take to prepare for the possibility of COVID-19 outbreak locally and to protect themselves from infection.
