STREATOR – A Streator man is in custody after allegedly stabbing a man over the weekend. According to the Streator Police Department, 34-year-old Jose Lopez of Streator is charged with Aggravated Battery Causing Great Bodily Harm and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon after allegedly stabbing a 51-year-old man in the 800 blocks of N. Shabbona Street around 7:30 p.m. The victim was transported to OSF Streator and Lopez is being held at the LaSalle County Jail.
