LASALLE – Illinois Valley Food Pantry and The Community Food Basket of Ottawa are implementing precautions.
Illinois Valley Food Pantry will be open for normal food distribution with the following exceptions: Only one person will be allowed inside the pantry at a time. No children will be allowed. Distribution hours will change for the Community Food Basket in Ottawa to Tuesday 9-11 a.m. and Thursday 3-6 p.m. Clients will stay in their cars, following the directions of volunteers in the parking lot. Registration will be streamlined and clients will be presented with a menu of pre-made boxes and bags that they will be able to choose from.
