SHERIDAN- Ten of the twelve inmates who tested positive for COVID-19 at the Sheridan prison have fully recovered. The Illinois Department of Corrections said Friday that three staff members are still active cases of the six total reported infected. The prison has had the majority of cases of the novel Coronavirus. The Illinois National Guard has also been deployed to assist with testing at the facility. The IDOC website lists that the prison has only 64 tests remaining in their inventory.
