MANVILLE – The Reading and Cornell Fire Departments were called Monday night to a call for two subjects stranded in a boat taking on water on the Vermillion River. Around 11:30 PM Cornell Fire was able to coordinate with the Reading Rescue Boat near 2800 N Road to locate and rescue the individuals. No injuries were reported in the incident.
