OTTAWA – Marseilles and Naplate have entered into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Ottawa regarding the Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program. Ottawa mayor Dan Aussem said at Tuesday’s City Council Meeting that the agreement will help businesses in the two towns apply for the grant offering funds as a result of COVID-19. As it is a substantial amount of work for a city to get set up for the Stabilization Program with the state, Ottawa can take care of the applications for the businesses of Marseilles and Naplate.
