SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reports 75 Coronarvirus deaths on Saturday. The deaths range in age from a Cook County woman in her 20’s, and a woman over a 100 in Dupage County. The vast majority of the deaths, 71, were either in the Chicago area or suburban St. Louis. The state reports 2,352 new cases of Coronavirus on Saturday, out of over 25,000 tests. That’s a positive test rate of just over 9 percent, a key metric the governor says he is looking at when deciding to reopen Illinois’ economy.
