MORRIS- A Chicago man is dead after being struck by a semi-truck on I-80 in Grundy County on Tuesday. Authorities say the man was eastbound in a vehicle when for unknown reasons he collided with a guardrail. After the crash 20-year-old Jake C. Enblom apparently began walking in the eastbound lane when he was struck by a semi-tractor trailer. Officials say Enblom was taken to Morris Hospital by Seneca ambulance where he was pronounced deceased. The crash remains under investigation by the Grundy County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
