CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 45 deaths and 634 cases in the past 24 hours. On Saturday, public health officials released the latest daily data, which was an increase of 16 deaths but a decrease of 28 cases since Saturday a week ago. 41 of the 45 deaths came from the Chicagoland area, and 1 death came from near Rockford, one from Peoria, and 2 from the Illinois side of the St. Louis metro area
