SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 42 more COVID-19 related deaths, along with 2,630 additional confirmed cases. Those deaths include a female in their 40’s from Bureau County. This is also the highest daily case count the state has seen since the start of September. In total, Illinois has reported 307,641 cases and 8,878 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
