LaSalle County sees 38 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

OTTAWA – 38 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in LaSalle County, but the local health department reported no additional deaths. The LCHD has announced 2,464 cases in total, with 1,764 of those now recovered. 30 additional recoveries were reported Tuesday as well. Throughout the state of Illinois, the Department of Public Health confirmed 4,000 new coronavirus cases along with 46 additional deaths. 2 of those deaths were LaSalle County residents who were reported by the county health department on Monday.
