LOSTANT — Two men were injured following a crash this morning on Interstate 39 involving two semi trucks. Illinois State Police say 27-year old Derrick Robinson of Indiana was southbound on I-39, just north of Illinois Route 18, around 6:30 this morning, when he rear-ended 52-year old Donald Wooden in the right lane. Lostant Fire officials say it took 50 minutes to extricate Robinson from his vehicle. Officials say Robinson was flown to Saint Francis in Peoria, where is condition is currently not known, while Wooden was taken to IVCH for his injuries. The crash closed Interstate 39 for roughly two hours.
