LASALLE COUNTY – LaSalle County farmers are just about halfway through with planting beans and corn for the season. LaSalle County Farm Bureau President David Isermann says its been a dry winter and spring for farmers, which gave them opportunities to get some seeds in the ground early.
More rain is in the forecast for today and Tuesday. Isermann says farmers are hoping the rain continues as needed and is monitoring the country’s precipitation, as large areas are in a drought.
