A woman who was flying from Fort Lauderdale to Haiti was detained by the TSA. She was trying to travel with a full uncooked chicken, however, once it went through the x-ray machine, agents found that the chicken was packing. After investigation, they found that the woman had hidden a handgun inside the uncooked chicken.
She did miss her flight as she was detained by the TSA and is facing charges for trying to bring a firearm in her carry-on. Being caught with a gun by the TSA also comes with a $1,500 fine, or $3,000 if it was loaded. For repeat offenders, it’s up to $14,000.
