MENDOTA – Mendota’s City Council is to discuss a petition to annex land for a proposed funeral home. On Monday night the city agreed to send an annexation petition for 192 East Highway 52 land to plan commission so that it may be discussed on October 28th. Alderman John Pierson says the land was purchased by a couple who want to build a funeral home outside city limits.
