City of Peru swears in new Chief of Police and Deputy Chief of Police

 
PERU – A large crowd gathered Monday night to witness the swearing-in of Peru’s newest Chief of Police and Deputy Chief of Police. Family, friends, and other Peru Police Officers filled Peru city hall as Former Deputy Chief Bob Pyszka and former Commander Sarah Raymond were sworn into their new roles. Pyszka, who has been with the city for over 30 years says the position has been a goal of his for many years.
 

Raymond, a 15 year Peru Officer, says she’s been working closely with Pyszka for over three years and believes they’ll make a good team.
