Free Special Education Training

Please join the Illinois Valley Center for Independent for a Free Special Education workshop.  “Home Schooling Your Child with a Disability” will held on Tuesday September 27th from 6-8:00pm in the IVCIL conference room.  This will be presented by Jean Kulczyk, Child Advocate.  At this FREE workshop you will learn the legalities and realities of home schooling children with special needs in Illinois, withdrawing from public school, home school curriculum, part-time enrollment, what to do if the truant officer comes.  A certificate of attendance can be available.  Light refreshments will served.
