SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health wants to remind individuals about when they should start and end a quarantine from COVID-19 infection or exposure. They say you should stay home for 14 days after your last contact with a person who has COVID-19, even if you test negative or feel healthy. Symptoms may appear two to 14 days after exposure to the coronavirus. The IDPH also notes that if your quarantine starts at noon on day 1, it would end at noon on the last day.
