MENDOTA – The Mendota Elementary School District 289 has announced they have selected their next superintendent, replacing Dr. Kristen School upon her retirement in June of 2021. On Thursday they announced K. Bradley Cox was hired with a three year contract. He holds degrees from Illinois State and Eastern Illinois. Cox currently serves as superintendent of the Erie, Illinois schools, previously having been a principal and a high school chemistry and physics teacher, and also has spent the previous 19 years working in school administration.
