STREATOR – A Chicago-Mendota based artist will continue to craft the city of Streator with a second mural. Ray Paseka member of NCI Artworks first installed the “Heritage Park Vintage Wall” in Streator as part of the Silo Pathways Tour. Paseka’s next project will be the installation of a mural for Gayle’s Monroe Tap, facing Heritage Park. City Manager Scot Wrighton proposed making the project cohesive with the vintage wall. Paseka found inspiration from a vintage champagne ad to design a 1920’s old style barmaid with a raised glass. The Gayle’s Monroe Tap project is said to begin in just a few weeks.
