OTTAWA – A woman is in custody after a residential burglary in Ottawa on Monday. According to the Ottawa Police Department at 7:30 p.m. they were called to the 200 block of Cactus Street for a report of residential burglary where medication was reportedly taken. After further investigation, 39-year-old Kabrina L. Nichols was developed as a suspect. Nichols was charged with one count of residential burglary a class 1 felony. Authorities say Nichols was taken into custody Thursday morning. She is being held at the LaSalle County Jail.
