DIXON – The Lee County Health Department is reporting an outbreak at an Illinois Department of Human Services facility in Dixon. On Tuesday authorities announced 24 out of 112 total residents at the Jack Mabley Center have tested positive for COVID-19. The center houses residents with a number of behavioral and medical needs. Officials stressed the Jack Mabley Center had been following Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines. Countywide they have reported a total of 46 infected since the pandemic began. Authorities in Lee County say 16 of the 46 positive cases have recovered and been lifted off isolation.
