PERU – Two police officers were commended on their work at Monday night’s Peru City Council Meeting. Officers Bradley Anderson and Aaron Querciagrossa were given the IVCH Heart Saver Hero Award as well as the City of Peru Good Neighbor Recognition for their life saving actions earlier in June. The two responded to an incident were an individual was not breathing. Sarah Stuepfert of IVCH and Police Chef Doug Bernabei commended the two officers on their CPR skills, which saved the individual’s life.
